The 5P 1150i Gen2 features a compact 1U rack format, designed for 19-inch bays. It has a C14 input and 6 IEC C13 outputs, as well as a next-generation graphical LCD display for quickly viewing UPS status, load, runtime, and alerts. It also integrates USB and RS232 serial communication interfaces, dry contacts, and an optional communication card slot for more advanced monitoring.
On the battery side, the device uses maintenance-free, user-replaceable batteries, with automatic test functions, deep discharge protection, and advanced ABM management to optimize battery life. Eaton also mentions hot-swappable batteries and 2 controllable outlet groups, useful for prioritizing certain equipment and optimizing available runtime.
